As with any large lighting project, lighting a baseball field is a very big project. Each field has unique requirements depending on the location of the field, the size of the field and whether it is a field intended for Little League or the Major leagues. Regardless of the level of play, the lighting for a baseball field has to ensure that every area of the field is evenly lit, and none of the light fixtures or radiant light interferes with the play of the game. Because the game of baseball includes a very small object moving at a very quick pace, the lighting must be much more intense than, say, lighting for a field where soccer will be played.
